How to celebrate Valentine's Week


“Wherever you are, and whatever you do, be in love.”

Love it or hate it Valentines Day is more then just a Hallmark card holiday observed by loved up couples.


Valentines Day is now a day to show your love and appreciation of those special people in your life – boyfriends, girlfriends, husbands, wives, family and friends. There is lots to love about this day, and if you want to enjoy more then one day of showing how much love you have to give, there are seven days of Valentine’s Week to do so. Starting with



Rose Day


On February 7. Give a gift of roses to your loved ones. Red for romance and yellow for friends..


Purpose Day


On February 8. As the name suggests today is the day to stop being a secret admirer and show you crush how much you like them. Today is the day to express your feelings to your loved ones, family and friends.


Chocolate Day


On February 9, will be a favorite I am sure. As the name suggests this day is dedicated to chocolate. Boxes of chocolates and candy are synonymous with Valentines Day. So today is the day to give them to your loved ones.


Teddy Bear Day


On February 10. Another romantic icon associated with Valentine’s Day, to give to your loved ones, is the teddy bear. This is also a great way to involve the children in your family, and give a cute teddy bear to your loved little ones.


Promise Day


On February 11. A day to make a meaningful promise to your loved ones.


Hug Day


On February 12. Touch is a powerful love language. So go on, give out some hugs today to your family, friends and loved ones.


Kiss Day


On February 13. The day before the big one is celebrated with a kiss. Show love, affection and respect and pucker up for your loved ones.

And then….


The big day arrives on February 14. Your loved ones, family and friends will already be feeling the love from a week of affection. Today you can wrap it all up with the last show of affection, give a gift, cook breakfast, or enjoy a candle lit dinner.
